DUSC Player Evaluation Information for Fall 2024-Spring 2025

Dublin United Soccer Club player evaluations (Think "Tryouts" for other organizations) are being held the week of May 20th-23rd at Avery Park near the South Concession Stand.  

Dates/Times are as follows:

  • Boys 2013-2018 Birth Year:  Monday, May 20th/Tuesday, May 21st 5:30PM-7:00PM
  • Girls 2013-2018 Birth Year:  Monday, May 20th/Tuesday, May 21st 7:00PM-8:30PM
  • Boys 2006-2012 Birth Year:  Wednesday, May 22nd/Thursday, May 23rd 5:30PM-7:00PM
  • Girls 2006-2012 Birth Year:  Wednesday, May 22nd/Thursday, May 23rd 7:00PM-8:30PM

ALL players planning on attending an Evaluation MUST pre-register on our site!  This registration will serve to register not only for Player Evaluations, but for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 Season as well.  If unsure if the player is playing, select the "Pay by Check" option and pay later.

 

What Are the Steps for a Coach to "Create" a Team?

Dublin United Soccer Club is a parent-coached organization with Professional Training Assistance provided (in the form of Monday Evening/Indoor FootSkills and Goalkeeper Training).  We try to make it easy for a Recreational Coach (or Coaches) to bring a partial to full team into Dublin United.  Here are the steps:

  • Coach decides to create a full or partial team
  • Coach attempts to identify 1-3 assistant or co-coaches
  • Coaching staff attempts to "build a roster" to the extent possible (this could be his/her full recreational team or a combination of multiple recreational teams or one to a full roster of individual players
  • Coach completes a Dublin United Fall 2024/Spring 2025 Coach/Team Registration Form which can be found here:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfvVtgIbhAQaHBLzC0mu7lKhY5pAU3hhh98UPW35Wq644bnBQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
  • Coach encourages those players to register for our evaluations on this site indicating a preference for playing for the coach/team by name on the registration form
  • Coach continues to "Build" the roster as needed prior to Player Evaluations week (May 20th-May 24th)
  • Coach can continue to modify the original registration form by adding/dropping staff and players
  • Coaching Staff attends Player Evaluations (Ideally both nights if the Coach is still "Building" his/her roster
  • Coaching Staff works with DUSC Staff and Evaluators to complete the roster (this step could stretch into June or July as players can continue to be added to the roster until Coach/DUSC consider the roster to be complete.

Dublin United Soccer Club has been the largest and most successful parent-coached soccer organization is Central Ohio since its beginnings as the Dublin Middle Tier Soccer Organization (DMTSO) in 2005.  We continue to lead the charge with innovative "Foot Skills Sessions", Goalkeeper training, Club Indoor Sessions, our unique Kickoff Event the first week of August, and more opportunities for our players to improve in the Summer, in season, and over the Winter. 

Registrations for Spring 2024-ONLY Players is Now Open!  Parents need to register by clicking on the Neon-colored REGISTER NOW Button on this home page!

NOTE:  Those DUSC players who played this Fall are already registered for the Spring 2024 Season -- no need to re-register.

Our fees INCLUDE a complete uniform kit, training jerseys, up to 16 footskills sessions (including up to 10 indoor sessions), goalkeeper training, up to 8-12 regular season games in the Spring, and one-two local tournaments. 

Our teams currently play in the largest league in Central Ohio (Central Ohio Premier League/Ohio Champions League) that includes all of the largest and most successful clubs in the area.
